Founded in 2016 by John Morrissey, a skilled carpenter from Clonmel, Ireland, the company stands as a testament to his wealth of experience and community-centric values. His early fascination with transforming ordinary wood into extraordinary creations led him on an apprenticeship journey that instilled the importance of exceptional workmanship.
Upon establishing his own business in Ireland and later immigrating to Canada, John's dedication to quality remained unwavering. The first decks he worked on were custom made from dense exotic hardwoods, Ipe and Jatoba, setting a high standard for all subsequent projects. In 2016, after receiving his citizenship and recognizing the power of teamwork, he assembled a team of skilled craftsmen. Today, Mississauga Decks & Trim continues to deliver superior outdoor living spaces rooted in integrity and collaboration.
